I installed my Dongar adapter and now something isn't acting right, did my Dongar cause this?Updated 4 months ago

Vehicle issues can arise when installing anything, whether OEM or aftermarket, into your vehicle. Installations may involve removing vehicle trim or disconnecting harnesses, and these parts can get damaged if done improperly. Therefore, the installer takes on the responsibility for any damage done to the vehicle such as damage to the trim or other internal components during an installation. And the vehicle owner chooses to take these risks when choosing to perform any work on their vehicle.

We do guarantee that our products are free of defects, and we have tens of thousands of customers who continue to use our products without issue. You can read more about our warranty policy here. But with thousands of possible vehicle configurations, between make, model, year, factory, and aftermarket options, and countless scenarios where vehicles have existing issues the driver is not aware of, there’s no way we can guarantee how our products will operate or interact in a customer's vehicle. Therefore, the customer assumes the risk of creating or discovering vehicle issues when using our products. If you have any concerns about performing any work on your vehicle, we recommend reaching out to an experienced installer for help.
